The concept of holding has virtually disappeared.
Look at any chart from the last year. A coin launches, snipers take the first block, bundlers sell into the first wave of buyers, and the whole thing is over before most people have even seen the ticker. Ceilings are fractions of what they were. A run that used to take weeks now lasts twenty minutes.
None of this happened by accident. Every launchpad on the market pays the same people: whoever gets in first and gets out fastest. The holder, the one person who actually gives a coin a chance to become something, gets nothing for it. He takes all the risk, watches everyone sell into him, and gets told he should have taken profit.
So nobody holds anymore. Why would they?
If holding culture keeps dying, the entire market follows it. Coins can't grow without holders. Communities can't form around something that's dead in an hour. Without holders, nothing gets built that's worth buying.
We're building a launchpad with one purpose: restoring those values.
HodlFun runs on two rules.
Holders must be rewarded for holding. Every coin launched on HodlFun sends its fees back to the people holding it, and your share depends on how long you've held. Someone who's been in for a week earns more than someone who bought an hour ago.
Sellers must lose out. When you sell, your hold clock goes back to zero, and any rewards you haven't claimed go to the holders who are still in. Selling still works the same as anywhere else. You just leave your rewards behind for the people who stayed.
That turns the old incentive upside down. Every paper hand that sells makes the remaining holders' share bigger. Instead of getting punished for staying, you get paid for it.
It's all public. Every coin has its own leaderboard showing who's held longest and what they've earned, and every payout is logged on-chain where anyone can check it.
No new mechanics to learn. Launch a coin, buy a coin, hold it.
Hold longer. Earn more.
